Our property spans 200 acres, total. We have three beautiful, rustic spaces that can be tailored to meet your vision for your special occasion.

THE PROPERTY

The Barn

Rebuilt in 1939, the stunning gambrel-style barn features peg and mortise construction, the original hay hook and vintage weathervane. Once home to a herd of Jersey cattle that supported the original owners and supplied milk to their family, today this beautiful barn offers a gathering place full of history and character for families and friends to spend some of life’s sweetest moments. If walls could talk, we know this old barn could tell a tale.

Originally built in 1939, The Barn at Richmond is a newly-renovated historic venue located in Kansas. The barn originally housed Jersey dairy cattle.
The Barn boasts a spacious primary and loft, spanning 3,800 sq ft total, with plenty of room for a dance floor!
This elegant arbor marks the spot where many couples say 'I do' at our historic Kansas wedding venue.

The Loafing Shed

Attached to the west side of the Barn, the Loafing Shed is one of the most unique places on the ranch. Originally used to hold dairy cattle before their turn to be milked, it now serves as a favorite spot to serve guests a delicious meal, cozy up to watch the sunset, take a rest from the dance floor, or capture memories in front of your chosen backdrop or the view of pasture and western sky. The opportunities are endless in this indoor/outdoor space.

The Loafing Shed is a flexible, indoor/outdoor space at this Kansas wedding venue. Book a tour to envision how it could be used for your special day!

The Grainery

This tin-covered Grainery, situated just south of the Barn, with its original rough-cut sawmill lumber trusses and glittering string lights, is the perfect bridal party retreat before or after the walk down the aisle. The hallway lined with hay bales covered in antique quilts creates the perfect atmosphere for best friends, families, or newlyweds to soak in a special moment on the big day.

The Granary at The Barn at Richmond is the perfect space to take a time to reflect before walking down the aisle.
